May 18 was the day, my tintyping other half turned 35! Yes… a beautiful opportunity for a supriseparty in our studio… Around 9 o’clock 35 friends arrived dressed with Arjen-look-a-like-black beards, equipped with some sound gear and their DJ skills. Before Arjen knew what happened our studio morphed into a party-place.
Next day before cleaning, enjoying a bit of a hang-over… He took this shot, as a BIG BIG thanks to all who joined. Friends forever… :)

Finally we planned some time for this, and for ourselves. One month of freedom! So we chose a place in the Bourgogne, in the middle of nowhere. Just some T-bone steaks-to-be walking in our temporary backyard, a bit of sun, a lot of space and some good food.
We build a temporary darkroom in one the sheds, worked without a regular water supply system and started some repair jobs on our antiques!
Against all odds we should get ourselves prepaired for the Dutch Design Week, where we will show our Tintype Studio… exciting!
